Who controls the Crypto markets?
Post Body

More so than regular markets, crypto seems to be quite coordinated. Every day every major crypto is either up or down a few %. Some days everything is down 10%. Unlike regular markets where stocks vary differently from day to day, all cryptos more or less have the same movements, most likely through algorithms trading. This seems highly coordinated. But who is behind these, and has the economic power to move several billions of dollars in a few hours?

Sometimes news hits and there are major movements, but often not. Trading as a regular guy I feel like I am just moving with the waves, without any possibility of predicting anything. I am always a few steps behind anything that happens. Another thing is that there seem to be the same movements with shitcoins as with quality projects.

Has anyone got any theories or ideas what are the major forces behind this? Who are the companies or entities who are behind big market moves? Have there been studies to show who might be behind it all?
