This could easily have the flair of adoption, but it made me laugh so I guess it fits under comedy too.
I was on my way to look at an apartment up for rent earlier today and walked alongside a young man (maybe 17-18 years old) for a while. He was on his phone talking very seriously and I couldn't help but overhear some of his conversation:
'No, I mean it, I need to get it RIGHT NOW'
'They just released a new coin, I need to get in quick'
'No, you don't understand. Crypto. I cannot afford to sit around doing nothing. I'll earn fat stacks on this.'
So what does this tell us about the current adoption rate? Honestly, I have no idea. The only thing I could think about when hearing him talk was how wrecked he will be when his shitcoin investment gets rugpulled. But in the end, he will learn :)
