Why farm moons when you can still mine profitably on CPU?
Post Body

EDIT: Soon turning topic into, LOL my gfs dad is a bank exec... (This is just info to help people earn more moons without wasting time trying for upvotes not all people get)

Moons are cheap, those who mine spend great amounts of their time on posting and spamming the forums. There are risks of your efforts going to waste on Reddit. They could run tools to filter posts out of competition by quality - this is still Beta. Beta means things can CHANGE at discretion of the administration and developers. Just my two cents. Why not mine with a CPU? You can ear $18-$65 a month. With distribution going down and more people subbing and farming with shitposts -- you're likely not to get the haul you want. Plus, in recent days mods have been lax on deleting circlejerk threads. Many of you make posts about posts being deleted. With mining - you let the computer do the work.

The method of defining a hash and assigning it to a block within the cryptocurrency blockchain using the computational power of a central processor (CPU) is known as CPU crypto mining. Satoshi Nakamoto, the Bitcoin creator, was the first to begin mining on a central processor. Mining was first started on a central processor by Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin. Satoshi tried to mine one million BTC back when Bitcoin was just a few cents, and mining was very successful, even on a low-end CPU.

And using this list of profitable fairly easily mined on CPU coins, you can too!

I have a reasonably priced Ryzen 5 4000 series with 6 cores. Mining RandomX (Monero's algo) would yield you some good profits. Right now there is nothing against buying moons in the TOS. It's trading and selling. However, there's still Moons out there on Honeyswap etc that can be bought, bridged easily with an app you could get from just about anyone over at the M o o n _ C O I N subreddit. And then you take your L1 Moons to L2 with the Reddit tool here: https://www.reddit.com/web/points-migration

What if moons on L2 go mainnet before I can buy and transfer L1 Moons?

Even better, buy your L2 Moons from the Arbitrum Uniswap V3 dApp that is supposed to be launching with Arbitrum's mainnet. I'm sure Reddit will have some sort of access to that dApp otherwise going to mainnet would be rather pointless and the admin already said the Arbitrum Reddit L2 Mainnet and others would interact and run parallel in all likelihood. Honeyswap is even going to be adding Arbitrum to its dApp soon! I'm sure the bridges will exist to utilize liquid markets for trading. So anything you earn mining will be able to buy L2 Moons direct after mainnet when "trading" is allowed. September 12, 2021 is the day the new ToS go into effect and imo, buying Moons is NOT forbidden by the language in the new TOS. Just here to spread facts and clear up misinformation.

Shitposts = bad karma. You're not going to get the returns you expect. Reddit could very well decide a certain quality of post qualifies and others don't at any time. Your karma temporarily being 0 the other night should worry you if you're spending your time getting karma by constantly shitposting. Glitches and bugs happen. Especially on centralized servers... then what?

EDIT: this is not a slam against moon farming I'm just saying at current $ and most people exerting a lot of effort on shitposting you may get tired of it and you are at risk of not getting a good enough score to yield what you want. Plus you might get bored of it and want alternatives. For anyone who says they can't afford a computer to mine with. $5 CPU....

(make a few bucks a month for a $5 computer. plenty of people use the pi btw - google and there's rigs of these and they're awesome)
