Yes, lambo-gains, DeFi, yield farming and play to earn games are all pretty great. But what are your favourite potential use cases for Crypto and Blockchain tech, apart from that? This can be something that already exists, or a potential use case that you envision for the future. I'll start it up with something that really opened my perspective.

I remember listen to the Lex Friedman episode interviewing Charles Hoskinson, and he gave an example where let's say you have an art piece (like Mona Lisa). You could pin a token to this art piece and program it so every time this art piece gets sold, a certain percentage of that amount would go to either the family or descendants of this artist. Or you could set it so the percentage of the money would go to charity, medical research, an educational fund or something like that. I find it to be a pretty cool use case.

Also, even though I know this will never happen: Imagine if governments would use Blockchain technology and smart contracts while distributing tax gains. So that we (the people) could see EXACTLY where each dime goes, in full transparency. No government could answer vaguely about what they choose to spend tax money on, because it would all be there. But, since governments tend to hate transparency towards the people, I have a very hard time believing we will end up there, ever.

But hey, one can dubiously speculate, and we can sure as hell dream. I mean, why else would we be here? 🙂
