Edit: LAST QUESTION!
Are there pros/cons to choosing a lower vs higher amount of earned BAT to give back to content creators?
Besides that, for my sake anyway,
/thread.
A lot of good info in here though, thanks to everyone who replied!
I've read a couple people saying they lost their BAT when their computer crashed or they otherwise replaced it and reinstalled Brave, because they hadn't "backed up" (using their words in case theres a difference going over my noob head) their BAT and moved it to a wallet.
So my questions are:
Is the Brave account/Brave rewards tied to your specific device?
Can you login to Brave and access your account/wallet (I say "wallet".. However Brave stores your earned BAT) on a new device? I will be getting a new computer soon and want to know if I should just wait until I do - although a little late, as I did just download and open Brave after weeks of excitement finally got to me. Having already installed Brave, should I wait for the new computer before signing up for the BAT rewards?
Is there a difference between "backing up your BAT", and moving BAT to a wallet?
What is a good wallet to use for BAT?
Thank you for making me aware of Brave and BAT, and thanks in advance for any guidance in making sure I do it right.
