Coinbase glitch maybe?

So yesterday I was on Coinbase and I buy from there with my debit card usually. To buy $100 btc, eth, or ltc it usually charges around $3.50 for $100 worth but when I purchased it yesterday they only charged $.99. I thought I selected the wrong account so I reloaded it and it was still $.99...I thought maybe they lowered their fees and I was so excited but I checked today and it’s back to the normal $3.50....anyone ever experience this?
