Are there any projects out there putting Git repository functionality into a distributed file structure?

It could be some format similar to Siacoin or Storjx, where it would be a file system running on a distributed system.

I guess you'd have to make the service free to compete with Github/labs, but you could charge people for making private repos, or perhaps have option fora a software market, with subscription for updates, etc - if third parties want to use said software.

Any revenue within the framework could pay people hosting nodes. With a structure like that, you could have a fixed supply, or at least a partially deflationary one.

Anyway, any projects somewhat like this would be interesting to see.
