I've now been banned since I refused to be silenced. All I did was try to create a discussion about the rules since I vehemently disagree with them. The first post was literally the #1 post on /r/Litecoin and had 82% approval when it was removed.
Original text from my post that was removed today:
Backstory:
I posted about the China drama and how big players are manipulating the price - seems like a great topic for us to discuss.
Mods removed it.
So then I made a post yesterday saying that it's ridiculous that I have to go to three different subreddits to get my news and it is also detrimental to interaction. If I have to go post in a subreddit with 3,000 subscribers my post won't even create a conversation it will just be a couple comments.
It was the #1 post and was 82% upvoted. Mods removed it.
So that brings me back to the question of why we have to divide this subreddit and our community.
What is the point?
The mods say it is to keep the front page free of clutter or some nonsense. They don't want a bunch of posts about the price on the front page. But then today I look at the top post of /r/Litecoin and it is a meme about holding.
Really?
So a meme about holding is allowed but a thoughtful post about price or the current situation is not.
