Given what we have all heard about the recent changes to Reddit's terms of service? It got me thinking, what if Reddit is considering converting karma into a token or distributing their own token based on karma counts? The talk about tokenized assets has definitely got me thinking about what their plan is here.
I wonder if they'll actually go ahead and reward users with an internal token based on their karma. But there might be some minimum requirements to prevent token abuse or something, right? Or perhaps they'll just replace the current coins with a new token system.
What do you think Reddit's endgame is with all this? Are they trying to encourage more engagement and content creation on the platform? Or maybe they have bigger plans to enter the crypto space and make Reddit more innovative. It's all speculation at this point.
I'm really curious to hear what your theories are about what Reddit is planning regarding tokenized assets.
Let's have a discussion and see where this takes us!
