So, my last post mentioned this winter dance, which we were gonna go to but that got postponed. But something else happened.

On this episode of mixed signal o’clock, yesterday I turned down my headphones to pick a new song and I overheard her talking to her other friends about me. She suspected that I still had feelings for her and that she was considering breaking her “no-dating” pact for the first time since she came to the school. I know damn well I wasn’t supposed to hear that because once I looked up at her, we locked eyes for a second and she stopped talking.

Later in the day, we were hanging out in the library and the teacher in there is super cool. Said teacher is the only one that has wind of our friendship and thinks that we’re gonna eventually date. After making a joke related to it, she brought up that she is super against dating anyone and probably never will. I brushed it off then but a few hours later, I was overthinking just about everything she said and it sucked.

So now I’m at a difficult spot. I’m not mad at her by any means, I’m just really confused.
