Post Body

I had posted a few weeks ago about a work crush that I’ve had for several years. Besides some very casual flirting from me, we had a normal friendly work relationship. That is, until the work dinner I mentioned in my previous post where we continually locked eyes while exchanging little smiles, neither of us wanting to break the stare.

I saw her the last two days in person for the first time since then, and to be honest, I was kind of nervous. We chatted a lot about work and I even put my hand on her back at one point, to which she didn’t pull away in any way.

I felt her looking at me, but for whatever reason, I resisted staring back. But then today, we had several run-ins and she kept looking at me, drawing me in with those big brown eyes. I finally couldn’t resist and looked at her. She immediately smiled and genuinely acted excited. I gave her a flirty grin that she returned to me. My stomach is fluttering just thinking about it.

So, what I keep questioning is this: she must obviously see my flirting and overall attraction to her and is simply being nice? Or, is there some mutual attraction since this week, she seemed to be initiating it?

I guess it doesn’t matter either way because just being near her, looking and smiling at her makes me so happy. Maybe I should give her a little wink next time and see how she reacts.

Thank you for listening to my puppy love gibberish!
