I recently got a new job in a helping profession, my crush worked at my old employer and also moved over to the new job, neither of us knew. We had worked at different locations and only met like 5 or 6 times and only for short periods, but I was instantly drawn to her. I didn’t have any impression she was in to me though.

We have four weeks of training and will again be working in different locations, which is a good thing if this goes somewhere. She has the most unbelievable eyes, big and gorgeous, like anime girl not kidding. Beautiful smile, incredibly warm but for me it’s about her heart, she is such a wonderful person.

She has been distracting doing training as I find myself just watching her from a far and daydreaming. She’s really shy, and I think she may act nervous around me but not sure. Things turned when I caught her eyeing me and it really felt like a romantic gaze. Since then I caught her staring one more time and we also talked for a bit about our schedules and she made a point of checking when our schedules overlapped. I told her she was great when discussing whether they would work with her on a better schedule, she made the cutest sound. She also stared into my soul and it really felt like she was trying to tell me something.

I had her number saved from a work group chat but we never communicated directly. She had offered to give me her number at work in case I got locked out one day, but I didn’t need to use it. I was scared of rejection and also wanted to do the dance and leave her also wondering if I liked her.

The last day we worked I texted her saying I had her number but wasn’t sure if she had mine, this was going into the weekend about 15min after work. I was scared she would be short or wouldn’t respond but she did! “I did not have your number and now I do (: Hope the next few days are restful for you! See you Friday!” I’m going to text her after work Friday, like I did before, and see if she wants the extra ticket to a comedy show. Wish me luck! I really like this girl.
