So I’ve (17m) been friends with this guy (17m) for a while, he identifies as a trans male, we’ve been pretty close for a while now and he’s an awesome guy. We both have common interests, we both love running, being outside, hiking, and just all of that stuff. We regularly hang out and I go to his house some too, last time we watched our favorite musical all the way through (Hamilton all the way), I left at like 11pm, and we even have a group getaway planned (3-4 people, 3-4 days). We are pretty close too, I was one of 4 people to go to his house for his birthday, I even got to stay after everyone else left to watch an extra movie. He just got out of a pretty one sided long distance relationship, and I heard that he had eyes for another guy in school, I don’t know how well it would work if it did because he is trans, and I believe this guy that he is interested in is straight as a board and even expresses his conservative beliefs. It’s really frustrating knowing that I can’t do much about it, and He probably won’t feel the same about me. I think about him quite often and I really need advice, I don’t know what to do.
