we‘re both guys, mid/late 20s and in open long term relationships. we‘ve also known each other for quite a few years but only really got to know each other a year ago at a music festival. about a week ago, at the same festival he drunkenly told me that he‘s into me.

I was visiting my parents and asked him wether he‘d like to meet, since his city is on my way home. first he said yeah, sure, but yesterday he texted me that he might have to watch his kid today, which is a perfectly fine reason to cancel our plans. kids always come first, I really get that.

but he also said might, it wasn‘t set in stone when he texted me yesterday, but he just didn‘t tell me when it was. radio silence ever since his last message. I‘m pissed. I don‘t expect him to chose spending time with me over spending time with his kid, but I do expect him to tell me once he knows for sure. that‘s basic human decency, isn‘t it?

anyway, I‘m going to visit my parents again in a couple of weeks and originally I planned to suggest that we‘d meet, but right now I‘m not sure wether I even want it. I‘ll probably do once I‘m done being pissed and back at crushing. pretty sure I will.
