CK3 ruining my PC

Has anyone had an issue where after downloading and playing CK3, their PC is noticeably slower and struggling to play games other than CK3?
I can play a lot of games with no issue, one of them being Destiny 2. After CK3 Destiny is almost unplayable, and I thought it was my internet, but then offline games seem to be effected as well. Is there something Iām doing wrong?
(Iām newer to PC gaming, got my PC in November, but never had this issue before)
