I have over 200 hours in CK2 but what frustrated me was that when a new patch would release I couldn't play new content with my save game. You would have to either revert to the old version and finish your game but without new content, or just start a new game with the new content only to repeat the cycle over and over. I only have about 2 hours to play games per day so it takes me awhile to finish a campaign and I got fed up with restarting constantly.
Does CK3 continue this same pattern? Or can you continue a save game while being able to play the new content? I am considering buying CK3 but not if its the same as CK2 save wise.
