Problems with Sakura Quest and some other shows

I've seen some similar reports and I have an "escalated" ticket filed (I'm pretty sure "escalated" means they just ignored it).

Sakura Quest plays in the Crunchyroll app on Android, but it's SUPER low res. Like unwatchable low res.

Other animes like certain episodes of Classicaloid have stuttering broken up video (without stuttering audio). Only certain episodes of other ones.

But every episode of Sakura Quest looks like crap, super low res.

Other animes play fine, it's not my connection.

Also I can play the "bad" animes through VRV on the same device and they look and play fine. I changed my DNS to Google and deleted the app completely, clearing all data and reinstalled, didn't change anything.
