One of the first cruises my husband I took together, we went to Royal Caribbean’s LGBTQ casual meet and greet. After arriving and standing at the bar for a few minutes, two gentlemen approached us and started talking. The two men really were not our types, we are into the discrete, masculine and 20-30 year old men. After they saw things weren’t going where they wanted, they asked us if we had a business card. I said I’m sorry I don’t and they gave us their “business card.” Well on their card it gave their first names, cabin number and what each of them were into as well as their HIV status and last check. Fast forward a few years, we found the community r/cruiser4r to see if we could meet someone on our future cruise. We got on the ship, opened Grindr. As the cruise went on we noticed Grindr didn’t work, Reddit wasn’t working, nothing happened. Once we got home we created r/rclr4r in hopes to give Gay/Bi men a place to find like minded men.

My husband and I love, both 39, cruising! It’s not only a vacation, it’s one of the most relaxing things we found for us. So fast forward to our cruise this fall, and wow, something finally happened!
