So random question, my friend and I will be going on an Alaska cruise from Seattle with NCL Bliss next Saturday. I have travelled on a cruise with this guy a couple of times, but the other times have been together with another friend, who tend to be the extrovert of the group, and he happens to be a smoker - and so it was natural to assume that some of his success in staying social with other people came from the fact that he ended up together with the smokers, and that the action of borrowing someone else's lighter is a fantastic conversation starter - but since none of us wants to start smoking, and one of us already rocks the karaoke floor, we thought of bringing candy cigarettes with us, in order to have a funny icebreaker (Which in itself is funny since we are cruising to Alaska 😅) (We are flying in from Denmark), but since you guys banned Kinder Eggs, we wondered if Candy Cigarettes are even legal to import into the US? I can see they are illegal in Canada, but as long as we leave them on the ship when going ashore, i guess we would be fine :)
We are not worried too much about being too introvert without the cigarettes though, as we have the drinking package in place, and with the brewhouse as well as the mojito bar, i'm pretty sure we will turn pretty extrovert eventually :P
TLDR; Trying to do a joke on an upcoming cruise; is candy cigarettes legal to import into the US, specifically Seattle WA?
