Grand Cayman is closed to tourists, but still on our itinerary.

Norwegian customer service is about as useful as an a-hole on my elbow, and will not acknowledge that the Grand Cayman Islands are not allowing cruise tourism until next year. Our sail date is mid December this year, and it seems pretty clear that this won't be changing.
Anyone have experience with port cancelations with Norwegian, and when to expect them to announce it? Also is it more likely we get stuck on the ship an extra day, or will they book a new port?
