When we booked this cruise, when the vaccines started rolling out, December seemed like far enough in the future that things would be mostly back to normal. Now, the Delta Varient and my 10 year old daughter is giving me pause. 99% sure that by then we'll all be vaccinated (late September is the latest estimate for the 5-11s), and masks will probably have to be worn in some situations, although with vaccines required for boarding, maybe not. But the variants are making me wonder when "normal" will ever be again? And will postponing to sometime in 2022 really matter?
