Jeneatte became popular and dated Jamie, entering Kate's friend group when she was missing, but that's where the similarities end. Even at her most popular Jeneatte seems like she became her own person. She dressed edgier than Kate, wore her hair more simply, darker make up. She also seemed less guarded with her friends whereas Kate looked very put together all the time, dressing more doll like or alternatively older for her age.
I just find it interesting how they both were popular and related to the same people but in totally different ways.
