Advice of auto rifles to start collecting/perks to look for?

I e always loved autorifles, but haven’t used them since S1. For me I find that easier to control ones always perform better for me - I am not good at countering poor stability direction (I’m on console), so I expect stability perks to be good to look for, but of course range is an issue too.
I really don’t know much about it though...
Any advice for what to look for?
