Hoarfrost-Z build tips?

I've been messing around with the stasis build for the crucible but can't seem to nail anything very well. Now with the nerfs to resistance with WoC and players can't be frozen with crystals, as well as being harder to get shatter kills. I was wondering if there was anybody who was able to make this exotic work.
I'm starting to wonder if WoR is still the best option and I can simply use diamond lance for the three slots along with cryoclasm to help with ability kills
