TL:DR - energy scout suggestions please.

Firstly I am aware the kill count on either gun isn't massive, I play as and when I can. But since I am a teacher I now have a couple weeks to invest more time before the new school year. Don't think I have a posative KD this season, been trying to improve.
I mainly play Comp and Trials, though I can't escape Gold 3 and have never been flawless but still enjoy it. I seem to have a 1,200 Elo bur truthfully no idea what that means, though I imagine that might give a better idea that I'm not fantastic.
In my pursuit to get better at PvP, I put down my immortal and aggressive shotguns. I've tried to take a more measured aprproach and started using scouts a little while ago and have been loving it.
I also picked up my Gunnora's Axe (perks below if curious) and have been loving slug shotguns with strand for close range option.
However I've recently refound my love for Chaperone that I hadn't had since D1 (also miss universal remote even if it has no place I'm d2).
Off the back off finding enjoyment for slug shotguns. This does mean I've had to to put down my Glissando-47. I've tried using (also attached) Jorum's Claw but just not loving the loss of range, even though I'm fairly certain it's TTK is better.
In conclusion I'd love some suggestions for energy scouts. I'm fine with end game crafts I'd need to work towards or grinding engrams, so any suggestions go. I'm also very open to any other suggestions to improve or other weapon combos to try, can't snipe for the life of me though.
I would appreciate if the suggestions could stay in line with using stand, I like suspend. You can see I've posted before about Arbor warden and strand, it hurt enough conceding Abayent Leap was the better option and I wasnt getting better using my favourite exotic for PvP.
Much appreciated if you read this.
