How do you deal with hate mail?

I don't know if someone has already made a post similar to this but I'm curious. How do you guys usually deal with hate mail? I usually cave in a send something back but it never makes me feel better, it just sucks knowing someone went out of their way to send something mean-spirited over a video game.
