4.10 gears or 3.73 gears

3.73 gears or 4.10 gears for my 06 town car. Paired with a torsen differential
I read some where that 4.10 gears in a panther platform are equivalent to 3.73 gears in a mustang.
I guess cause of the longer wheel base?
Any thoughts?
