Last week I drove 3,000 miles round trip and towed a car across the US with my Town Car, AMA
Post Body

Drove from Minnesota to New Mexico to pick up a rust free car that will replace my current very rusty project.

Averaged 22.6 MPG on the way to get the car, and averaged 15.7 MPG while towing, loaded to just shy of 8,000 lbs gross weight.

All fun and games until you get pulled over and weighed. That would be a HEAFTY ticket being that overweight.

I got an overweight ticket in my 3/4 ton for being at 16,8XX when my max tow was 16,400. That ticket was $180, 400 pounds overweight. This is at least 1.5k over, be careful out there with overloading
