Question about excessive oil consumption
Post Body

I have a 2019 Premium (manual trans if it matters), and I've had my oil level light come on three times now. The most recent was 4k miles after an oil change, and there was barely anything on the dipstick when I checked it. I've never noticed drips or puddles anywhere. I know Subarus start absorbing oil after a certain point, but I've only got 45k miles on it, and this seems crazy. The dealership can't find anything wrong with it. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Yeah I know, hence my concern. I try and check the level semi regularly. I believe I'm still within the original warranty, but close enough to the end that I get hassled about extending it.

Look like it.

I've started doing that. My daily commute is 50 miles of 50 mph driving. Wouldn't call it aggressive, but it adds up.

During ski season I'm doing a minimum of 300 a weekend. Currently more like 500-600. It adds up fast, and it is definitely higher rev driving.
