I have a 2023 Crosstrek Limited. The screen for the GPS unit has been cracked. I've spoken with a dealership and gotten some info from them on replacing the unit. No surprise, it's very expensive. I'm currently looking into buying one from a wrecked vehicle and having it installed.

I'm looking for suggestions on the types of places to have this done. I've spoken to an audio shop that gave a very reasonable price. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My one concern is that the service advisor at the dealership said the unit needs to be "programmed," and I'm not sure that can be done by just anyone. Thanks for your help in advance!
