Camping lights on OE roof rack?

I have an '18 premium with the malone airflow2 crossbars. I'm starting to go camping more and I'd like to mount some flood lights to both sides on the rack and the only mount I'm thinking might work is making a custom bracket for the lower T slot on my crossbars. Has anyone done something similar? I'd love to get the prinsu rack but I don't want to drill the roof lol
