I want to spend money on this game, but everything is extremely expensive!

I've actually waited for about 1-2 years for a decent deal, something I can spend money on, feel proud about and feel like I helped the developers. But everything is soo expensive, it doesn't warrant me to dive into my wallet.

I've looked at the battle pass, but it doesn't look that exciting, maybe I am missing something? On ps4 a gold weapon costs about $100 CAD if buying in-game currency. which is, damn. Incredibly expensive.

Also, I just learned that now there is a sales tax on transactions. So I've been getting mixed feelings about investing in the game or not, it feels very money hungry. I want to help, but also don't want to feel like a sucker.

What have people spending money on? does anybody else feel kind of the same?
