Coming out to parents

How did you come out as a crossdresser to your family? I know that Iām definitely a crossdresser and actually have been since I was very young (10) and am now 31 but one thing Iām unsure of is if I am a trans woman or not..I keep going back and forth on this one. Has anyone experienced this before?
