Post Body

I keep seeing a lot of posts on here with manually gridded fabrics. But I know there are pre-gridded fabrics for sale. I guess my question is what is the benefit of gridding your fabric by hand? It seems like a waste of time/more stress added with the potential to miscount and mess up your piece. Is there something that I am missing/not understanding? Or is there just not enough variety in the pre-gridded fabric available?
