I’ve framed some of my projects over the years, but I sort of just.. cut them to the exact size of the frame, stuck it in there, and called it a day. But it has come to my attention that this is not the recommended method lol. I’ve seen some people mention wrapping the fabric around foam board, but isn’t that way too thick for most frames? I’ve also heard that you need spacers, so that the glass isn’t actually touching the stitches. What do you use as spacers/where can you get it? Also, any tips for round or oval frames? I feel like it will be hard to get it to lay flat when I wrap it around the board, but I think an oval frame would look awesome for my most recent project. Sorry for the million questions haha, but any advice would be appreciated!
