Let's talk pregnancy and Crohns
Post Body

I have a lot stacked against me starting with age along (43). I have already spoken with my ob/gyn and my GI, and plan to meet with a fertility specialist and alsoy primary. But I'm curious about personal experiences- how were your symptoms? Did you flare? Did you improve? Did you have to come off your treatment (apparently I won't have to stopy Stelara which is a huge positive). Any words of advice, encouragement, concerns are welcome!

Hello, I have CD and this is my first pregnancy. Has anyone had trouble with the STI testing they do? Ive never had a positive test before never had to be tested because I never had any symptoms but I tested positive for syphilis. My husband has tested non reactive. I know that systemic autoimmune diseases can trigger a false positive but the doctors are not believing me. This pregnancy has been so hard and the stress just triggers my Crohns. Im hoping that i can get answers. Ive been to 2 different obgyns and did the testament because if I didnt they have said they could take my baby for negligence of medical treatment. So I am wondering if anyone has had something like this happen?
