Wound Healing - Pred
Post Body

Hey new to the group - I’ve had crohns for 20 years. More recent flare has been controlled but I’ve got secondary perianal disease and abscesses. I’ve had them drained just over 4 weeks ago & I am wondering if anyone roughly knows how much longer it takes to heal? Eg 50% or whatever. If the healing is unsuccessful - I’ve a high risk of a permanent stoma, which I want to try and give my body the best chance of healing before taking a life changing decision.

I am currently on pred descending dose, but raised back to 20mg (been on them for nearly 12 months and can’t come off them) Adalimumab injections every two weeks - since May AdCal Folic acid Ran two courses of antiobiotics which ended 10 days ago - but I’m being started on another course for a week.

Thanks
