Hey everyone, I never use Reddit but I feel like this was a good place to have some people to relate to.

I’m a 19 y/o male who was diagnosed with Crohn’s a year ago. At the start I was very sick. I dropped about 30 lbs, was anemic, and my hair was starting to fall out.

My GI started me on Skyrizi and that’s what I took from March of last year until today. With Skyrizi I got my appetite back, was able to gain about 50 lbs, looked and felt healthy, and rarely had any stomach pain or symptoms like I used to. However, I had a colonoscopy in December and surprisingly my colon looked exactly the same. Now my doctor has switched me to humira and that’s what I took the loading dose for today. The whole thing is very discouraging to me but I’m going to keep going with the process! Hopefully humira can keeps my hopes up.
