i have seen a few crochet youtubers joke about not washing their crochet clothing and honestly i never have don't it myself because the only wearable I've made were bandanas and hats. but now im starting to sell my crochet stuff and some of it has dog hair/dust/small crumbs on it from being stored in my house (I have 2 dogs and 3 cats).
im nervous about messing up my work, I know it varies based on the type of yarn. i mostly work with cotton and polyester blends
