Hi all.
I am coming from a psychoanalytic, feminist and Marxist background, however never studied sociology etc. I am not very familiar with affect theory but I think lately I have been having an interest in the structural production of emotions. By this, I mean I am developing an interest to understand how emotions such as shame, guilt and envy can be understood in terms of structural inequalities, such a class and/or gender.
I had my MA in analytical philosophy but now I think I want to pursue something along these lines. So, also confused about the academic course I should follow, whether having another MA in a more related field or just directly jumping into a PhD program.
I would also appreciate if you can mention some of the academics/schools/departments studying such a topic in Europe.
Too many questions I know but I am feeling a bit confused atm :D Thanks everyone in advance
