Ancient philosopher Aristotle said, "The greatest crimes come from excess and not necessity." The P. Diddy case is a prime example. He had everything a person could ever want and more, but he still had to push further. And it's not an isolated incident, he's been doing this many years. So what causes people to go too far? Why is enough never enough?
My theory is desire is like a drug. When you take enough hits, your body adapts and your threshold increases, so you can't get high anymore. You have to increase the dosage even higher and higher to get high again. When you've done as many "freaky orgies" as Diddy has, you can't get off anymore. So you have to raise the stakes and make it even freakier, crazier, more wild.
