I'm an owner of an exclusive prepaid store (another carrier) that is about to switch over to exclusive Cricket. I've worked in the past with Boost, Tmobile, and Sprint over the years so I'm familiar with the "typical" prepaid customer base and what locations thrive and which don't. For example in my area if you're a Boost or Metro dealer you need to be in the hood if you're going to kill it. I'm hearing though, that Cricket doesn't really stand up to Metro/Boost in the hood so I'm told to open stores in mixed areas, working class, etc. In the past my Boost stores (most of them) were 1st and 3rd stores (when government checks get released) so this is a bit of a change. So, to any of my Cricket dealers or employees (who are familiar with the prepaid world) what is your opinion on locations? Stick to the hood and go head to head? Or go with the working class locations and try for a broader audience?
