I bought a brand new Galaxy A14 5G from Cricket, at a discount yet paid in full. Fast forward to today, I decided since I owned the phone that I'd transfer BACK to AT&T, but instead all I got was a brick. I was not informed upon purchase of my device that it would be locked for 6 months, and after transferring without knowledge I lost full access to my device. Called the 611 number, zero help, went to the cricket store nearest me, no dice.
I spoke at length on Twitter about my experience, and all I got was an automated reply. The fact I was not informed of any fine print of any kind, and put under the assumption that anything I signed was merely a standard process of using my debit card makes this all feel very shady, predatory, AND fraudulent.
I could be wrong, what say you lot?
