The way England threw away their wickets for the health of ODI cricket by letting minnows New Zealand have a little win on the scoreboard at least, was truly admirable. Not only did they do it just once or twice in their batting innings but letting it get all the way down to ninth wicket, is really something to admire. Add to that the bowling being as threatening as being flogged by wet lettuce and I think it’s safe to say they have revived the spirit of cricket in a single game! Letting two of the kiwi batters have a little tippy tap around and get a century each was really very sportsmanlike.
THREE CHEERS FOR ENGLAND LADS!
