Post Body

I need you to read everything because the context is the important part. I am going through severe therapy, and I need a buddy to help cope. These are telehealth visits all virtual all through the computer so my gecko never leaves the room. I need this therapy to work because the issues it is dealing with are debilitating me and are extremely difficult and stressful to try to fix, and I was wanting to know if having my gecko out during the day is too much abuse to be safe for him. I have done the occasional session of handling during the day and he never gets handled that night he gets completely left alone unless I'm feeding, and he is very relaxed and calm when handled, and I even make sure it never gets to the point that he is actively looking for an escape because when he gets truly antsy and starts looking a little stressed out I put him up. Please understand I would rather not have him out every session, but it is essentially necessary for me. Does my need outweigh the bit of stress the gecko will get, or am I a horrible monster for even considering it. It is once a week for about 45 minutes. Please rate the amount of abuse in and out of this context out of 10. Thank you for reading all of that.

PS I am pretty sure I am pretty good at reading his body language and telling when he is getting stressed out and no longer liking things and when he seems to be comfortable.
