Post Body

Hi guys, I’m going back to college in a couple weeks and I’m taking my little buddy Mushu with me. He’s a 6/7 months old crested gecko. How do I travel safely with him? It will be an 5 hour car ride on the first day, an overnight hotel stay, and then another 3 hour car ride the next day, plus move in. How do you recommend traveling with a crested?

I’ll be bringing his 20 gallon tank for his home, but I don’t think it’s safe for him to be in that for the car ride. I have a small critter keeper (maybe 5 gallon?) that I use for holding him when I clean his tank. I also have a 10 gallon that was his baby tank. What would be the safest way to transport him? Should I put any items in his transport cage? What’s safe that won’t crush him? Thank you so much for any help, he’s my baby and I don’t want anything to happen to him!!
