Finally moved out now and I have a 24x24x36 tank coming that I plan on housing 1 crested gecko in with a bio active setup. Already have my plants waiting and substrate and hydro balls. I’m confused on how I keep the temp on low side and still being able to have enough light to keep the plants alive. Would this 18 wat 24 inch light be too hot for my Gecko? Would have a piece of glass inbetween mesh roof and light work better and help with humidity? Sorry I’m worried on how I’m going to do this the right way
