I have recently applied and received Amex Platinum Charge Card but I haven't activated it yet since I'm negotiating with them for a different welcome bonus instead of the Taj Vouchers they're offering. Can they meanwhile generate the statement with the joining fee even if I haven't activated my card yet? Because I've received an SMS from Amex saying statement has been generated for the above mentioned card with due of Rs. 77,880.
