Hello everyone,
My question is simply what advantages does chase have over Amex in terms of points . I am aware that chase has Hyatt and they are more valued in a sense. However what other benefits do they have or transfer partners that would make their ecosystem better than Amex ?
The reason I am asking is because I have the AMEX GOLD, PLATINUM. I also have the CSP . I have found myself just using the gold more and more than using the CSP . I normally keep it around in case they don't support Amex.
I don't plan on cancelling. But I just want to make sure there isn't something I am missing.
For context for flying. I plan on buying a ticket hopefully business or first class to Japan next October. (If there is award availability) I have over 200k points in MR points but only 70k points in UR points with chase .
I normally spend about $400-600 in food a month
I tend to travel maybe 3 times a year to see my family, however, they live near an AA hub and that route also doesn't have award availability.
Just checking to see if there are any benefits to keeping both award systems or just going full send with MR points .
Thanks in advance.
