I am 22 and looking to get my third credit card. I will be moving and starting a new job at the beginning of September, so my income will change pretty drastically then. I have been utilizing my Chase travel points through the portal, but it seems like that's maybe not the best idea? I also don't know if it's worth going for the whole "Chase Trifecta" or if I should dip into a new ecosystem? Mostly just feeling like I have too many options and getting confused about which would be the best for me!
Also, since I'll be moving soon, I feel like SUB cards would be okay since I'll likely be spending a bit more around the move.
Let me know what you think is the best option! I'd also be happy to answer any questions!

CATEGORIES
- OK with category-specific cards?: YES
- OK with rotating category cards?: YES
- Estimate average monthly spend in the categories below. Only include what you can pay by credit card.
- Dining $: 150-200
- Groceries $: With my partner, aiming for around 300-400 a month.
- Gas $: 100-125? (This is truly a rough estimate. I drive a fuel efficient car, but I have no clue how much or how little I'll be driving when I move for the new job.)
- Travel $: 250-300 (Trying to live frugally for right now, so definitely won't be spending a ton on travel, but still want to visit home and such)
- Do you plan on using this card abroad for a significant length of time (study abroad, digital nomad, expat, extended travel)?: No
- Any other categories (examples: phone/internet, insurance) or stores (example: Amazon) with significant, regular credit card spend (the more you specify, the better): Online shopping ~$200, sometimes more. Shop regularly on Amazon, too.
- Any other significant, regular credit card spend you didn't include above?: Not currently
- Can you pay rent by credit card? If yes, list rent amount and if there's a fee for paying by credit card: Do not know yet, but my partner and I are aiming for a rent budget of under $1,900.
MEMBERSHIPS
- Current member of Amazon Prime, Costco, Sam's Club, or a Verizon postpaid customer?: Amazon Prime
- Current member of Chase, US Bank or any other big bank?: SoFi
- Active US military?: No
- Are you open to Business Cards?: Possibly
PURPOSE
- What's the purpose of your next card (choose ONE)?: Third card, want to be saving money and possibly building travel rewards. Cash back is cool too. Just trying to build profile and save money where I can. (first credit card, balance transfer, saving money, travel rewards)
- If you answered "travel rewards", do you have a preferred airline and/or hotel chain?: Not currently, but open to it. Would probably choose Delta or maybe JetBlue
- Do you have any cards you've been looking at?
- Chase: Sapphire Preferred (Has been recommended as a good travel rewards card if you have a Freedom card), Freedom Unlimited (Maybe good to get a standard 1.5 on everything to use alongside the rotating categories), Prime Card
- AMEX: Blue Cash Preferred (I like the 6% back on groceries), Gold Card (Points at grocery stores and dining out, maybe good to get into AMEX ecosystem? )
- Wells Fargo: Active Cash (good 2% back card?), Autograph
- Citi: Custom Cash, Double Cash (not sure if this, WF Active Cash, or CFU would be best?)
- Bank of America: Customized Cash Rewards (My partner has this and the online shopping category reward seems like maybe a good fit for me)
- SoFi Card (I already bank with them, 3% for a year)
- Very open to other suggestions!
